In the Coastal Express house (Hurtigrutens Hus), which also incorporates a hotel, the museum retraces the history of this maritime service. Reconstructions, sound effects, photos of the line's boats over the years, models and various documents are a precursor to a visit onboard M/S Finnmarken, a 1956 ship now in dry dock.
