The Nordkapphallen was built in the cliffside in 1988 to offer modern facilities to visitors. A video projection illustrates various aspects of the North Peak and its environment in the different seasons. A terrace has been built into the rock; it faces north and offers a view of the immensity stretching out beyond the cape. Further back is a panoramic amphitheatre with a bar. The upper floor houses a restaurant serving northern specialities, as well as a post office and a souvenir shop.
