This imposing wooden house, painted white and located on a hilltop overlooking Lake Nordås, is famous the world over as Edvard Grieg (1843-1907), Norway's greatest composer, spent the last twenty years of his life here. The idyllic setting of the house and the plethora of souvenirs it contains make this one of the most visited places in Norway.
