Bjursås : Michelin's recommendations

The former farm buildings that house the Local History Museum (Dössbergets Museum) are located in a fabulous setting on Dössberget mountain. From here you have a spectacular view of the Bjursås church and its surrounding lakes and forests. The walls and ceilings of the house of the Dalecarlian painter Mats Stadig (Stadigstugan) are covered in his vividly coloured compositions. The tools and materials he used are exhibited in the Dalarnas Museum in Falun.
