This museum uses paintings and models to show trading between Göteborg and India, seamen's life and the evolution of shipping. The Finland, a merchant ship of the Swedish India Company is the most interesting exhibit, and there is a remarkable collection of figureheads. The aquarium hosts a collection of northern species, as well as tropical fish.
