The biggest park in the city covers no less than 137 hectares! Winding paths run through the extensive lawns, there is a children's zoo and little houses transported here from all over Sweden make a mini museum of village life. Sports areas, restaurants, cafes and lakes complete the picture. And since Göteborg is first and foremost a port, the Natural History Museum in the northeast of the park has stuffed whales and other beasts of the sea.
