This museum exhibits around 20 000 studies of monuments on all sorts of materials and using all manner of techniques. The aim is to illustrate the process of creation from beginning to end. The international collection includes works by Matisse, Léger, Sonia and Robert Delaunay and Jean Bazaine. Visitors can also see Mexican sketches by specialists in mural painting. The Swedish collection provides a good overview of 20C art. Models by Henry Moore for his sculpture Hill Arches dominates the international sculpture room.
