This huge zoo specialises in the animals of the Nordic countries. It has some 100 animals of 36 different species - generally they can only be spotted at feeding time due to the size of their enclosures. The moose, bison and musk oxen are fed at noon; the bears, wolves and lynxes at 2pm; the seals, otters and other animals between 10am and 3pm. In the part of the zoo that is reserved for children, the animals can be stroked. There is also an amusement park on site.
