Board a small, comfortable bus in Stockholm and begin your adventure into the Swedish wilderness. In just 20 minutes, the city of Stockholm will give way to the beautiful and historical Swedish rural landscape. Along the way, view the lush meadows and hillsides, typical Swedish cottages and classic manor houses. You will also see where Vikings raised runestones, many of which are still standing.
Listen to your guide explain the natural history of Sweden and its inhabitants: deer, wild boar, hare, moose, diverse birdlife, and other wildlife. A short hike (approx. 15 minutes) will get you out into the open air and forest.
