When to go

Stockholm’s climate is mild, relatively dry and not quite as awful as you might expect, all things considered. In January, for example, the temperature is at least 20°C higher than that of Canada, which is on the same latitude.

From mid-May, Stockholm undergoes a radical transformation and seems to explode in a riot of greenery. It should be remembered that while the summer days can be hot and sunny, the evenings grow cool as soon as the sun sets.
