The very lively fruit, vegetable and flower market on the Hötorget (Hay Market) is complemented by the underground food market halls of Hötorgshallen, where you can find a wide variety of Swedish and international food products. The square is presided over to the east by the Konserthuset (concert hall), a blue building adorned with imposing granite columns and Corinthian capitals. Designed by the architect Ivar Tengbom, it is heavily influenced by Classicism. In front of the building you can admire the Carl Milles masterpiece, Orpheus (1936).
