The headland, whose sheer cliffs plunge dramatically into the sea, separates Skälderviken Bay in the north from the Öresund Strait. Paths run along the edge of the cliffs and lead to the Kullen Lighthouse, which looms 88m above sea level. It was built in 1900 on the site of the 16C lighthouse. Halfway along, a sign ("Ransvik") points the way to a café, which enjoys a stunning location on the edge of the cliff and affords splendid views over the strait.
