These islands, a dozen of which are inhabited, are heaven on earth for cyclists and windsurfing enthusiasts. Hälsö, Öckerö, Hönö and Fotö are connected by bridges. On Öckerö there is a 15C church with whitewashed walls and a charming interior. On Hönö, an interesting Fishing Museum (Fiskemuseet, 031 96 89 94). The northernmost island, Rörö, is a nature reserve offering plenty of fabulous spots for swimming. The Vinga reef forms the westernmost tip of the archipelago and its lighthouse is well known to sailors. The island offers excellent opportunities for fishing and swimming.
