The city’s historic centre is on Saint-Louis Island, a long strip of land accessible via the Eiffel-styleFaidherbe Bridge. Note the Great Mosque to the north, as well as the cathedral evoking colonial days and the buildings lining Faidherbe Square. There’s a lot of restoration going on here.
