The inside of this colonial house, rebuilt in 1990 after a fire, is that of a typical 18C Creole dwelling. A lovely furnished verandah closed off by blinds is a prelude to the tour. These rooms are an important part of the Seychelles habitat, places to rest and receive visitors which are also enjoyed for their cooler temperature compared to the rest of the house. The site is currently closed for renovations.
