After Port Glaud, the road continues northwards, offering sublime panoramas of the sea, to Ternay Bay, one of the archipelago’s four national marine reserves - a great chance to put on your mask and snorkel for some colourful discoveries. This paradise for scuba divers can also be reached on an inland route by following the trail from Anse Major (to the north); get an update before leaving as it isn’t always accessible.
