A group of Creole houses awaits visitors, who can find all kinds of crafts here, including batik clothing, jewellery, objects made from coconut shells, as well as superb ship models of which the Seychellois are justly proud. The village was created by the authorities to give local crafts a new scope. Don’t miss the “grand Kaz”, a colonial house from the 19C made of painted wood and surrounded by a verandah.
