When strolling through the old quarter of Ljubljana, be sure to walk across the Triple Bridge, one of the most splendid sights of the capital. Joze Plecnik flanked the original bridge with two pedestrian bridges. Equally emblematic is the Dragon Bridge, the first bridge in Europe to be built out of reinforced concrete. The four dragons on the bridge look out over the city.
