Cape Town’s commercial hub is defined by Wale Street, Adderley Street, Strand Street and Long Street, a particularly lively artery. It is made up of a network of small, perpendicular, partly pedestrian streets full of the hustle and bustle of its flea market, shops and restaurants. Be careful, however, as the area gets rather unsafe as of the late afternoon.
