Cradock : Michelin's recommendations
Cradock, a large town on the Great Fish River, was founded in the 19C as an outpost for settlers heading to the East. There are some fine old monuments decorating the town, such as the Dutch Reformed Church. The old stalls on Market Street have been fixed up, and Bree Street contains the town’s oldest buildings. Mountain Zebra National Park , twenty kilometres away, strives to protects these animals from extinction.
