Darling : Michelin's recommendations

Darling is located in Swartland, north of Cape Town, where grapes and wheat grow in its fertile soil. September is the best time to go, during the floral festival. At that time of year (August and September are springtime there) thousands of wildflowers are in bloom, covering the hills with their vibrant colours. To get the most of this spectacle, be sure to visit one of the area’s floral parks.
