Leaving for South Africa
Knysna Travel guide
Knysna : Michelin's recommendations
A magnificent lagoon, whose rocky entrance is dangerous for boats, protects Knysna and its harbour, on the Garden Route. Oysters farmed here can be sampled on site. A boat ride from the harbour takes you to the entrance of this expanse of water, or you can explore it on foot on the trail that runs along the cliffs, or by car from the View Point at the top of the hill. There is a beautiful primary forest all around it.
