Lamberts Bay : Michelin's recommendations

The main economic activities at Lambert’s Bay, on the West coast, revolve around the harbour and Bird Island. The village has a fine fleet of fishing vessels and canning factories where seafood is processed, including fish and spiny lobsters, abundant during the southern summer. A breakwater goes from the harbour to the island, where there is a large colony of birds that can also be observed from the look-out.
