The Old Supreme Court houses one of the richest collections of paintings in the country, the Tatham Art Gallery. On the ground floor, note the portrait of the Zulu king, Goodwill Zwelithini. The first floor mainly features works by 20C South African artists such as Walter Battiss, Alexis Preller and the Everards, three generations of women painters. There are over 70 works by such well-known artists as Eugène Boudin, Camille Pissarro and Alfred Sisley. The gallery also organises contemporary art exhibitions.
