Sport and leisure activities

South Africa is rich in leisure activities. In addition to safaris and big game hunting, you could also indulge in deep-sea fishing and river angling, golfing, hiking and horse riding, horseback safaris, hot air balloon flights and even skiing in July-August on the peaks of Maluti range at the frontier of Lesotho. The country is also home to a vast array of water sports, among which canoe-kayaking, rafting, scuba diving, surfing and bodysurfing, to name but a few.

Whatever the case, the South African tourist office will provide all the necessary information.
