If you’ve never tasted Constantia, a favourite of Napoleon, head for the Klein Constantia wine-growing estate which started producing it again in 1980. This sweet wine made with muscat de frontignan grapes is famous the world over. While at the estate you can also visit one of the six mausoleums in the Cape region containing the remains of a Muslim religious leader enslaved by the Dutch in the 17C.
