Sani Pass (2 874m) marks the approximate border between South Africa and Lesotho. The access road, on a mountain slope, runs along some impressive precipices. Sani Top Chalet, at the pass, claims to be the “highest pub in Africa” and is the point of departure for climbing up Thabana Ntleyama (3 482m), the highest peak in the Drakensberg. You can also go and see the Basutos horsemen who live nearby.
