Hallasan National Park is home to the country's highest peak (1 950m), the Hallasan volcano. It's easy enough to hike to the crater at the summit (as long as you find out about routes before setting out), and the walk takes you through a landscape that is sculpted by past eruptions and changes dramatically with each season.
