Alcolea del Río : Michelin's recommendations

On the edge of the Guadalquivir between the Sierra Morena and the plain of Seville, the small town of Alcolea lived for centuries according to the rhythm of the river, as suggested by its two mills, Aceña and Peña de la Sal. Apart from its Baroque church, the town boasts a 15C Mudéjar church, the Iglesia de San Juan Bautista, built in Moorish style but under Christian rule.
