The Los Gaitanes gorge (desfiladero) is the main attraction of the Ardales park, which can be accessed on foot from El Chorro campsite (30min there and back). Enjoy stunning views from the metal suspension bridge which spans the gorge, which has an other-wordly feel with its wild, unspoilt landscapes and large rocks in the riverbed. It’s best to turn back here and retrace your steps, as the gorge can be dangerous underfoot from this point onwards.
