Located at the heart of Málaga province and at the foot of the Sierra del Torcal, Antequera (Antikaria in Roman times) faces the Peña de los Enamorados. Today, it is a major agricultural and industrial centre which has integrated modern buildings alongside its monumental churches and paseos, while managing to preserve its typical Andalucian charm.
