The Gruta de las Maravillas, located in the centre of the village, is a spectacular rock formation which descends more than 100m underground. Explore rooms of stalagmites and stalactites with green, blue and pink hues. The limestone roofs are remarkably beautiful as they are reflected in the waters of extraordinary interior lakes. God’s Crystalware Chamber, where the reflections of light combine to wonderful effect, is a highlight. The caves are also home to ageological and mining museum.
