Built in 1530 on the site of a 14C church, the main façade is the work of Alonso de Baena and is a perfect illustration of plateresque art. The entrance is on the right lateral façade and is in a neo-classical style. Inside, you will see the fine star vaultsand the 17C retable by Jérónimo Hernández and Juan Bautista Vásquez, which represents the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and covers the polygonal apse of the early Mudéjar church.
