A coastline of gleaming white beaches running from El Portil (where the scenery of the protected lagoon reserve is spectacular) to El Rompido, punctuated by the mouths of several rivers. The Costa de la Luz, which runs from the Portuguese border to Punta de Tarifa, takes on a unique character in Huelva: the sky seems to run to infinity, and the coast merges with the mysterious Atlantic horizon.
