This large run-down square is one of the oldest in Cadiz. It was the preferred place to live for the middle class in the 17C before becoming the main square in the 19C. On occasions it was an arena or a cinema. On one side stands the Baroque facade San Antonio's church. You will also see some elegant 19C buildings and, at no. 15, the Casino of Cadiz and its impressive neo-Mudejar patio.
