Moorish quarter Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

Bibendum
The Barrio de la Morería at the foot of the ruined castle that dominates the town is a tangled maze of bright twisting alleys cut by endless stairways. You would think you were on the other side of the Mediterranean, in North Africa. Take a look at the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores (Our Lady of Sorrow), with its fine Renaissance cloisters and an interesting Baroque altarpiece above the high altar.

    Pros

We spend here a few hours and found many interesting buildings like an old moorish bath house. We had lunch on the alameda, the central street of the town with nice restaurants during the summer where life starts again after 21.00 A pitoresque town which is nice a cool after the intense heat of sevilla and cordoba since it lies on 600 metres height
