Situated between Carmona and Alcalá de Guadaira, Viso del Alcor is situated in the highest section of the Alcores, a small range of hills stretching from Mairena to Carmona. This village of Celtic origin has two churches, the Iglesia de Santa María and the Iglesia de la Merced (Church of Mercy), which boast several interesting altarpieces.
