This 18C church was part of a convent of the Tertiaries of St Francis. There is evidence of colonial architecture here, with tree aisles separated by arches standing on pilasters. The remarkable baroque portal is decorated with the sun, moon and stars. Note the coat of arms flanked by two strange heads. A tower with a pyramid-shaped arrow stands above the building.
