Fernán Núñez : Michelin's recommendations
The small town of Fernán Núñez is named after its founder, a member of the local aristocracy. It was built in the 13C on the site of an old Roman settlement. The ducal palace and the church are the main buildings of interest in the historic centre.

-
Dukes' Palace
E - 14520 Fernán Núñez
The impressive group of monumental 18C buildings stands around a square. The scarlet roughcast walls and white borders on windows and cornices lighten the decorative restraint of the whole, which is otherwise only broken by the odd heraldic motif.

Church of St Marina of the Holy Waters
E - 14520 Fernán Núñez
The 18C church has preserved its interior Baroque decoration of frescoes and stuccowork, adorning the domes and the vaulting.
