Galera : Michelin's recommendations

The two faces of Galera, south of Huéscar, reflect the history of the town, which was Moorish then Christian in turn. The Christian lower part, laid out in a neat grid pattern, contrasts with the Moorish upper part, with its tangle of lanes and troglodyte houses. Other points of interest in Galera include the 6C BC Iberian necropolis (known as Tutugi), the archaeological site of Castellón Alto, dating from 1600 BC, and a 15C church.
