This museum is set up in a cave excavated in Arab times which still has some evidence of its past, such as a brick well (1650) and a buried jar (1640) which served no doubt to keep wine. The rich pottery tradition of the province of Granada, including the famous local jars called accitanas, is clearly exhibited in the various rooms.
