Jaén
: Michelin's recommendations
On an undulating plain covered with olive groves, Jaén, the largest producer of olives in Spain, extends around the foot of the Santa Catalina hill, half encircled to the southwest by the foothills of the Sierra de Jabalcuz. The town boasts a rich artistic heritage with a number of Moorish remains and Renaissance buildings, particularly in the districts of La Magdalena, San Juan and Santa María. Jaén’s Holy Week celebrations and excellent local cuisine are also worthy of note.
