Built in the 16C Isabelin Gothic style on the ruins of a former Arab mosque, this church has retained the charming patio with an ablution basin and fruit trees giving it a rustic eel. Inside, the main altar is framed by a fine retable by Jacopo Florentino, aka the Indaco, and a relief of The Madeleine by Mateo Medina (18C). Opposite the church, the Raudal Fountain used to supply drinking water to the citizens of Jaén.
