Jerez de la Frontera is only a few kilometres from the coast, but feels more landlocked than maritime. This dynamic wine-growing town, world-famous for its sherry, is also a cultural capital blessed with a rich artistic heritage, as witnessed in its old streets dotted with medieval churches and Renaissance palaces.
