Somewhat forgotten despite its extraordinary beauty, Jimena stands at the eastern edge of the Parque Naturel de los Alcornocales. Approaching the village from the north of the province of Cádiz, the road runs through some spectacular countryside of holm oak, cork oak and gall oak, which only changes as you approach Jimena.
