Juviles : Michelin's recommendations

As you approach the Alpujarran village of Juviles from Trevélez, the landscape changes dramatically: after the verdant feel of the two preceding valleys (particularly the valley of the River Trevélez) the land becomes almost inhospitably arid. The church of Santa María de la Gracia is one of the loveliest on the Granada side of Alpujarras and well worth a visit.
