La Palma del Condado's town hall occupies the old hospital of the Immaculate Conception. Before taking up its present calling, the 16C building was converted in 1929 in a style inspired by the buildings in Sevilla, such as the Plaza de España, that were erected for the Latin-American Exhibition the same year.
