Founded after the reconquest, the church of St James preserves from its original Mudejar decor a brick tower decorated with panels of sebka in the upper registry and the old door, blocked off today with geometric intertwining. The Baroque interior (18C.) contains, in a chapel on the lower left side, a statue of Jésus the Rich, a highly venerated object which owes its name to the wooden and silver cross that Christ bears.
