A large example of civic Renaissance architecture, by Tomas Bottani, overlooking Plaza del Cabildo with its palm trees, wrought iron benches and old lamps. The superb façade with porticos on two levels topped with a coffer ceiling and galleries with five arches has elegant doric columns on the lower level and ionic columns on the upper level.
