Osuna : Michelin's recommendations

Situated in the heart of the Seville countryside, this fascinating historical town has been identified as the Iberian town of Urso, which was conquered by Caesar. The town later fell into Muslim hands before being finally reconquered by Fernando III (1239), then ceded to the Order of Calatrava by Alfonso X the Wise (1264). The town reached its zenith under the House of Osuna from 1562, when Philip II gave the fifth Count of Ureña the title of Duke of Osuna.
